Father we come to You this morning, praising Your Name above all names, we pray this morning You would make us invincible walls resisting temptations, evil influences, and distractions from Your glory, Your power, Your love, Your Providence, Protection, and from Your word.
Lord, give us vision, and wisdom so that we can recognize a distraction from Your word, no matter where it comes from, the enemy or a loved one alike. Whether it is intentional, or unintended, let us, empower us, to resist all.
Lord, give us the power, and determination to confess Christ at every opportunity, to shout His name to the highest and lowest. Empower us to live out loud and in color, with an irresistible power, and inclination to teach Your word, His truth in every corner of the earth, and in the congregations of the professed church.
Lord, give us the strength to stand against those who profess Your truth in error, as they are at times Your worst enemy, and our greatest obstacle, leading people off the path, while making them think they are on the path to eternal life with You, even though in reality they are on the path to eternal destruction. Lord help us, empower us to lead these misled souls into Your unerring truth.
Lord, lead us by the Holy Spirit, cleanse our own minds from false understanding of Your word. Make us passionate in studying Your word, learning all Your precepts in absolute truth, so when we stand against others who teach a false doctrine, we can be on the side of right, the only right, Your right.
Lord, we continue to pray for the poor, and the homeless, that You will empower Your church to care for these people, taking the message of Your love to them.
Lord we pray for those who are suffering, from both mental and physical disease, and again, empower Your church to see to these people, see to their needs, assist them where we can, praying for them at all times, and with them, so they will know where their relief, and salvation comes from.
Lord we pray for the prisoner, that You will inspire multitudes of Christians to visit these people, let them know they are still a part of us, they do matter to us, we do pray for their safety, for their healing, for their return to society, when they are ready, and help them Lord become ready by knowing, by accepting, by believing, and by following Your truths.
Lord, give us opportunity to visit the orphan, to be a parent to the children who have no parents. Help us to be the teach who loves them, to show them the path to eternal life in such a way they will never stray, or if they do, they will know the way back.
Lord, we thank You for all the great blessing You bestow upon us daily, from the daily provisions of life to the eternal life that awaits us. We thank You mostly for our Savior Jesus Christ in whom we offer up this prayer. Amen.
