Morning prayer June 21 2014

prayer20Our gracious heavenly father, we come to You humbly, as willing, thankful servants of You the most high, and holy God, the creator of all things that exist. We praise Your name, we bow to Your name, we seek You passionately, and Your word, and Your will and pray that all will consume our lives. We give all to You father, we ask for nothing but the opportunity to serve You as faithful servants. We pray that You will lead us, and guide us into all paths of perfect servitude, and perfect righteousness.

Lord we pray that You will help us separate ourselves from the evil seed, and cleanse our souls, minds and bodies of all evil thoughts, and influences, bind the evil one Lord and let him have no power over us.

Give us the power to never let the evil one affect our behavior, and forgive us when we do. We thank You for the test, but we also ask for Your strength to guide us through. We pray that we recognize the sadness in the person who appears to be evil. Help us influence that person with Your glorious truth, that they may find peace in Your word, Your good news, and in our savior the Lord Jesus Christ.

We pray for the suffering of the world, Lord we are overwhelmed with their presence. We are overwhelmed with their grief. Lord, our heart’s desire is to be the answer for all their suffering as faithful servants of the You the most high God.

Lord, we shed the tears of loneliness with the prisoner, as he spends year after year alone, in a single room, and we shed tears of happiness as he comes to an eternal truth, in that loneliness, through Your word, of a time hoped for that will have no room for grief, no room for tears, and no room for death.

Lord, we confess you as our Lord and savior; we confess our faith in Your promises yet to be received, We see in the near future, that place of glory, and thank you for preparing for us a place, a place in the fathers house, a place for us to abide forever.

And, Father, we thank You for the Son. We thank You for the calling to salvation, and giving us a heart to respond. We pray for the heart of a teacher, the heart of a seeker, seeking those we might teach Your word to, and we pray for their souls.

Lord, we pray all this in the name of our savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
