Lord, we come to You this morning, thanking You for our great blessings, especially to be able to live in a country as great, and safe as America. Lord, we pray for those people who live in places that seem to be facing the end of time, with terror on all sides, famine, and warfare as a common everyday fact.
We pray for their safety amongst all the terror, we pray You will end all of this strife, and bless them with peace. Lord, at the same time we pray that we realize the benefit we have, the great blessing bestowed upon us as we sit safely here in America, and pray through that realization that we will return to worshiping You as we should, honoring Your name as we once did, a time when all Americans respected Your name, and that of Your Son, Jesus Christ, whether they were saved or not.
Lord we repent all our sins, and ask for forgiveness of those sins, and beg that You would lead us in paths of truth and righteousness, staying true to the path, with our eyes forever on You.
Lord, we pray for our daily provisions, in faith, knowing You will provide as promised, that Your promises can be relied upon. Lord, we pray for the homeless, that You will provide for them through the church.
Lord, we pray for the prisoners, thanking You for all those who have chosen to follow You while they were behind bars, and we pray that Your truth will stay with them once released, and they will remain in the faith for eternity.
Lord, we pray for the motherless child, the hopeless widow, those in nursing homes, no longer able to care for themselves, that You will shower them with Your blessings, restoring hope of a better day, and receiving the hope and promise in full faith.
We pray for the teenager, facing all the decisions they must face that will affect their entire lives, we pray You will lead them to a life of the highest order, that of a follower of Christ. We pray for the unemployed, that You will help them find a way to support themselves, and their families.
Lord, we pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
