Lord, we come to You thanking You for another day. We pray we use this day wisely, walking the narrow path according to Your guidelines, keeping our eyes on the cross, teaching others to do likewise, and worshiping You in Spirit and Truth.
We pray You keep those traveling this weekend safe, helping them be attentive to their driving, others driving, and road conditions. Lord, we pray for the families of those who have passed away, giving them strength to deal with their loss in the peace and comfort only a relationship with You can provide.
Lord, we pray for the healing of those suffering from illness and disease when it is within Your will to heal, and for comfort and peace when it is not Your will to heal.
Lord, we pray for the foolish ones who claim atheism, that You would enlighten them, or give them the strength to admit their faith in You, and to the foolishness of denying You.
Lord, we pray for the descendants of Ishmael, that You would heal their minds, giving them the truth of Your word, and protect the innocent from the murderous ways of their number.
Lord, we pray for the homeless, praying they would receive shelter and care through Your representative on Earth, the church.
Lord, we pray for ourselves, that You will open our eyes to Your truth, correcting any error in our beliefs. Lord we pray for forgiveness of our sins, and we repent those sins, and receive Your forgiveness in full faith according to Your promise to forgive.
Lord, we ask for our daily provisions, and again we receive them in faith.
Lord, we thank You for all our great blessings, especially the greatest blessing of all, eternal life in heaven with You, through the work of the cross of the perfect man, Jesus Christ in whom we offer this prayer. Amen.
