Morning Prayer: July 7 2014

Gracious Heavenly Father we come to You this morning, thanking You for the wonderful blessing of another day, and another opportunity to share Your love, and Your truth, and Your grace with others. We pray for the courage to approach the unapproachable.  The power and strength to resist all temptations, and evil we find ourselves dealing with today.

Lord, we repent our sins, and ask for Your blessed forgiveness.

Give us the opportunity to help another person, a homeless person, or a hopeless person. Be with them Lord through Your representative on earth, the church, Your church, the only true Church, and empower them to deal with their difficulties each day, knowing there is hope, a hope of eternal life with You.

Lord we pray You will instill an unquenchable thirst for Your word in each of us, and a undying passion to share that word with the world.

Lord, we pray for our daily bread, and we accept it, in full faith, knowing You supply all our needs.

Lord, I thank You for all the saints that have gone on before us. Thank you for their prayers, for the time they took to show us the way to eternal life. Thank You for the example they set for us, and we pray we can maintain that example in our own daily lives.

Lord, we pray a special prayer for our friend, and brother in Christ, Booker, a man truly after Your own heart, a man who has set that example of others for so many years. We pray for a complete healing. Lord, thank You for this man who has such happiness in his soul, this man whom everyone who knows him considers him their best friend.

Lord we need him here working, and we pray You will work him hard, during this time that America needs men like him so desperately.

Lord, we pray for the prisoners, the prisoners that he has ministered to for so many years, and all prisoners, that they will come to a saving grace.

We again, pray for the orphan, and the widow, that You will be with them caring for them, giving them hope, and strength, and peace.

Lord, we pray all this in the name of Christ Jesus. Amen.
