Lord, we come humbly to You, before Your throne, thanking You for our salvation, for the eternal life that awaits Your children. I thank You for all the angels of mercy You have sent to pull me back from the brink of destruction, but not just me, but all of us who have chosen to follow Your word.
Lord, show us the way to a higher knowledge of Your word, and show us the way to a higher commitment to Your word, and will. Lord, teach us all your precepts, and teach us the truth. Lord, examine each of our hearts, and cleanse them of any evil, of any worldly desires or lusts and lies.
Lord, let us not worry about what we wear, or eat, or own in this profane world, but lead us in the spirit to spiritual wealth, laying up our treasures in heaven. Lord, the best of our righteousness is as filthy rags, but we wait for that day, that glorious day when we will be cleansed of this filth that abounds in our lives, our thoughts, that bombard us in this perverse world.
Lord lead us, we pray, along the narrow path until we reach that day of crossing over to the grand and glorious reunion with You and those saints who have gone on before.
Lord we pray for the forgiveness of all our sins, those we are aware of and those which are hidden from our view. Lord, we repent all sins, and our desire is to be forever removed from them, and forever in Your presence. Lord we pray for our daily bread, both spiritual and physical, having full faith in receiving both.
Lord, we pray for the lost of this world, the blind, both physically and spiritually, that You will open their eyes, that they might see glory, the glory of Your truth, and reality. Lord, we pray for the care of the homeless, the healing of the sick, and the comfort of the lonely.
Lord, we offer up a special prayer for the prisoner tonight, for those behind bars, a hope that only You can provide, and for those prisoners of this world, through drugs, alcohol, and other worldly traps, that You will relieve them of their sins, release the devils and evil spirits that possess them.
Lord, we pray all this in the name of our savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
