Our heavenly Father we come to You this morning, as we begin a new “work week” praising Your name above all names. Lord, help us worship You in spirit and truth, each day, as we go through our day. We pray You will provide opportunities for us to witness Your name and truth to many people today.
Lord we thank You for the great blessing of salvation, and of family. Lord, help all of us to remember to take time for a morning prayer, and to never end our day without a prayer, and to go through our day in constant prayer.
Lord, we have special requests this morning, first for the two people in critical condition who were hit as they rode their motorcycle in Wichita this past weekend, we pray they will enjoy a full recovery from the injuries, and realize the blessing of recovery is from You, and it will cause them to worship You, and become faithful servants for the remainder of their lives. Lord, if it is not within Your will for their recovery, we pray for their souls, and we pray for a peaceful passing. We pray for the families, for their peace in Your decision, strength during this difficult time, and that this trial in their lives will lead them to You.
Lord, we pray for all those injured in accidents over this past weekend, that You will be with them as well, praying for full recovery where it is within Your will, and a peaceful passing, and salvation for their souls, where it is not. Lord we pray for the drivers causing the accident, that this tragedy in their lives will lead them, and their families that suffer with them, to You as well.
Lord, we pray that all drivers will stayed focused on their driving, being watchful for others, and especially those on motorcycles, as their Safety is so vulnerability, and dependent upon our attentiveness.
Lord, in addition we pray for all those suffering from illness, for their complete healing where it is in Your will, and for their souls when it is not.
Lord, we pray for the professed Christian, that their eyes will be opened to the evils, and deceptions of this world, and leaders who profess themselves to be gods, by supporting or creating laws that are outside of Your laws. Lord, allow them we pray to see the error of their ways, and allow the Christian, and non-Christian alike to understand these errors of judgment.
Lord, we pray for those incarcerated, that You will be with them behind prison walls, supporting them, giving them peace, and healing from the additions, and afflictions of mind that are behind the crimes they have committed. Lord, change their hearts, and cleanse their souls, turning them into faithful followers of the way. Lord, we pray that You will raise up “inside” preachers that will help these men find You, and that narrow path that leads to eternal life.
Lord, we pray for the homeless, that they will find true shelter in Your words, and under your wings of love. Lord, we pray for the orphan, and the widow alike. The mother who has lost her child, and the hopeless, and helpless, that You will be with all, giving strength, love, patience and great faith through their trials.
Lord, we pray for forgiveness of our sins, and we repent those sins. Lord, we pray for our daily bread, both spiritual and physical, receiving both in full faith. Lord, we pray You will lead us to a congregation to worship with, or to form our own worship group, in either case, a group that has a heart and passion for truth, absolute truth in worship, and following Your will, without self-glorifying, but in full humility, becoming fully committed slaves to our creator, You, and to our savior in whose name we offer up this prayer, Jesus Christ. Amen.
