Gracious Heavenly Father, we come to You this morning in full faith, and acceptance of the forgiveness You offer us through our confession of Christ as Lord, our confession of our sins, our repentance of our sins.
Lord, we accept our daily bread, both the spiritual and physical also in full faith as we trust in Your trustworthiness, and Your promise for provide for Your sheep.
Lord, we pray for the lonely this morning, we pray You will comfort them as only You can.
Lord, we pray for the prisoners this morning, that You will encourage them to use this time when they have been removed from the problems, and confusion of daily life. Give them a passion for Your word, and a passion to be Your servant for the remainder of their lives. Lord, we pray You will be with their families as they face this most difficult time, knowing their loved one is in a prison.
Lord, we pray for the prison guards, that You will protect them from harm, give them faith, and strength through that faith, to teach prisoners the love of Christ wherever they can.
Lord, we pray for the wardens and other officials of the prisons that they will see the value in the teaching of Your principles to these men, that they would require attendance to some Christian training or worship during their stay in the prison. Lord, we pray these officials will provide every possible opportunity for these men to seek You, learn Your word, and fashion the remainder of their lives around the word of life.
In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.
