Father we come to You this morning on bended knee, praying for forgiveness of the sins we commit, again repenting these sins. Lord, we pray you would lead us from all evil, and protect us from all evil. Lord, we look forward to the day when sin will no longer be a factor, and our preoccupation will be worshiping You, for eternity in a place without tears, without pain, without ageing, without losing loved ones, and without death.
Lord, we once again pray for the salvation of this lost and dying world. Lord, it is heart breaking to watch these people run with open arms to a hell without parole, without release, and in a place of darkness, gnashing of teeth. A place removed completely from You.
Lord, how can a people be so foolish as to want a world without You. Lord please open their eyes, please have compassion on their ignorance, for as our Savior, and Your Son said, they do not know what they do.
Lord, give us ways, help us to reach out to these people, help us, give us the right words to say to open their minds to truth, and their eyes to the way.
Lord, help us to shed all worldly desires, pleasures and goals, and focus fully on the path ahead. Put a passion in our hearts to know Your word so well that we are able to defend it at any time it is attacked by the ignorant, and offer its beauty at all times to those who seek. Lord, let us not worry about what we wear or eat, but let us be concerned about what comes from our hearts. Lord, place in all of us a heart that desires peace, and the beauty of life that only You can offer through Your percepts.
Lord, help us, and encourage us to reach out to those who are hungry, naked, homeless, and show them Your mercy through our actions. Let us call upon the prisoner, and visit the lonely, be a parent to the orphan, and advisor to the lost.
Lord, let us teach Your word, and truth everywhere we go, using words if we must.
Lord we pray all of this in the name of the savior, the lamb without blemish, the lion of Judah, Jesus Christ. Amen.
