Let us Pray Together

Let us Pray Together

Heavenly Father thank You for another day in which we can worship You, learn more of You, learn Your word better, learn about Your will for our lives better, and do more of the works You have assigned for us here on earth.

Lord, help us to remember this is not our home, we are merely passing through, and all the things that glitter are merely traps to cause our downfall, to cause our failure to reach eternal life in that beautiful place beyond the imagination where there are no more tears, no more death, no more exhaustion.

Lord, help us keep our focus on the path ahead, and let us only see one goal in this life, the goal of pleasing You our creator. Help us to hear the voice of the Holy Spirit and heed His words.

Lord, we pray a special prayer this morning for the children. Please be with the child who suffers from loneliness, the orphan who has no parent, no brothers and sisters, please comfort them, and add them to our spiritual family, the church. Help us Lord to reach out to them, and guide them into paths of glory.

Lord, we pray for all the children innocently caught up in the places of war. We pray for their protection of the evil that surrounds them, and that they will recognize the evil of war, and the evil of the people behind the war. Help them become people who demand peace, and teach peace as they become adults in this war torn world by teaching the beauty of Your word.

Lord, we pray You will protect the child who lives in comfort, whose attention is drawn towards all the distractions of a prosperous nation, all the games, the sports, the entertainment, all the things that prevent them from learning of You. Lord, place in the hearts of all parents that true love for their child is to teach them to seek You, so they will live eternally in heaven with You.

Lord, we pray for all the adults that are in a position of authority over a child or children, that You will place in their hearts a desire, and a determination to teach these children the truth of Your word, so they will have a chance of discovering You, Your word and will for their lives, and that they will develop a passion for You. Lord, please make these people painfully aware of the responsibility placed in their hands when teaching children.

Lord, we pray for the church, that we will find ways all over America to establish church schools in order to train the child up in the way they should go. Help us to establish these schools in such a way there will be no cost to the parent or child, that this education will be free for them, and a safe haven for them from the world that would destroy their bodies and minds.

Lord, we pray for the forgiveness of our sins, for our daily bread, and for protection from the evil one and his representatives here on earth.  Lord we pray for the helpless, the hopeless, the homeless, that all will have their needs fulfilled by You through Your representative on earth, us the church.

Lord we pray all this in the name of the one who offers salvation for all, Jesus Christ. Amen.
