Morning Prayer August 5 2014

Let us Pray Together

Let us Pray Together

Our heavenly father, as we humbly approach Your throne this morning we again ask for blessings for Israel as the war rages on. Lord, they have been in conflict most of their existence, You have gathered them together, brought them back to their land after all these years and now we pray that You would give them what they have always wanted, peace.

Lord, we would pray they will also recognize the fact their messiah has already come, the Lord Jesus Christ, and they will find true salvation, and true worship in that fact.

Lord, we pray for the salvation of their enemies as well, that they will somehow discover they are worshiping a false god, an idol and will come to their senses and worship the one and only true God, the God of creation, the father of the savior.

Lord, we pray You would enlighten people all over the world of the truth of the situation, that the chosen people, the Jews want peace, have a passion for peace, that the Israeli people are some of the most loving, and generous people of the earth. Lord, help the people all over the world understand that Hamas means violence, and they live up to their name. Help the world understand these people live in darkness, behind a curtain of evil and hatred, and their only passion in life is to murder Your chosen people, and the church, those who worship You and the true Messiah, Jesus Christ.

Lord, we again ask for forgiveness of our sins, that You would protect us from all evil, help us to resist sin, and we pray for our daily bread, both spiritual and physical. Lord we pray this in full faith of Your promise to forgive, provide, and protect, and we pray with full faith in Your faithfulness.

Lord, we pray for a special blessing this morning for the prisoners, that are studying Your word, preaching Your word, and worshiping You behind bars. And, we pray for the prisoners who have not yet found you, that they will hear Your word, this very day, and accept You, and Your truth this very day finding eternal life in the word.

We also pray for those who are suffering this morning, from homelessness, helplessness, and hopelessness. We pray for a special blessing; that Your overwhelming love and providence will be showered upon these people.

Lord we again pray for; the orphans, the widows, widowers, the lonely, and for all children over the world. We pray for their protection, and the deliverance from all evil.

Lord, we pray for all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
