Father, we come to You this morning again needing forgiveness for sins. Lord, I repent of my sins, and pray that You will lead me into, and onto paths of righteousness. Lord, we pray for our daily bread, and accept it in full faith. Lord, we pray You would lead us from all evil, protect us from the evil one. Lord, we pray Your will would be done on earth as it is in Heaven.
Lord, we pray that we are in a right position with You when we stand against the people who would attack Israel, and we pray for Your Devine protection of these people. Lord, we also pray for the protection of all people from the evil of these groups known as Hama and Isis, and others like them. Lord we pray You will stand in the way of these evil people preventing them from further harm.
Lord, we pray that Your church would study Your word more diligently, learn the truth of Your stated precepts, and somehow become committed with a great passion to follow Your direction. Lord, we pray for the modern church that has fallen so far away from the example set by our forefathers, and we pray we return to that simple, but fully committed church. Help us to put aside self-glory, and self-exaltation, and once again view ourselves as slaves, slaves to You the creator, the almighty God.
Lord, we pray to become the church once again that cares for the poor, the helpless, the suffering, the homeless, the prisoner, the widow, the orphan, and the hopeless, bringing the message of Your love, purity, goodness, and provincial care to all.
Lord, let us stand boldly against all evil, as the early Christians did, even though we face criticism and possible punishment, even to the death of the body, without fear, knowing with full faith our final destination.
In Christ’s name we pray. Amen.
