Lord, we come to You this morning, thanking You for yet another day. We pray You will lead us through this day in such a way that we will glorify Your name before the world. We pray that our lives will be an open bible to those who do not have one. We pray that You will help us avoid sin, and we repent the sin we commit daily, and ask Your forgiveness for that sin in full faith that we are forgiven.
Lord, help us be Your blessing to others who are unfortunate, who do not even have the simple things in life needed to sustain life, without shelter, without a place to bathe, without even clean clothes to wear. Lord, help us not look at someone begging for food or money with disgust or pity, but as another human being in need of help, and possibly in need of spiritual guidance. Lord, let us merely be a help when we can, but in a way that does not humiliate, but gives You the glory.
Lord, we pray for our daily bread, and receive it again, in full faith.
Lord, we pray not only for the homeless, but for all those suffering in one way or another. Lord, we pray for prisoners, and pray for a great revival of faith, behind prison walls. Lord, turn our prisons into Christian schools, and universities, turning out Christians, and preachers, rather than criminals with new skills.
Lord, we pray for the orphan, the widow, and all the suffering children of the world for a special protection for them.
Lord, we pray a special prayer for the children of the affluent that their minds will protected against the false teaching of worldly ideas, and being politically correct. Lord, please send people to them who can show them the true path to eternal life.
And, finally Lord we thank You for all the great blessings You bestow upon us daily.
And we pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ our savior. Amen.
