Let us Pray Together

Let us Pray Together

Father, we thank You for the answered prayers, regardless of the answer, we know that You will answer according to Your perfection, not our imperfection. We pray again for the forgiveness of our sins, and receive that forgiveness, humbly but in full faith, knowing ahead of time that You will forgive as You promised, as we are weak and will continue to sin as long as we walk in this world. Our continued prayer would be for the strength to resist sin, as these sins are as filthy rags, and we loath them, yet cannot discard them. Yet, we know, the day is coming when the blood of Christ which saves us from destruction will also bathe us and cleanse us permanently as we receive a new celestial body, and walk in that perfect place where there are no more tears, no more death, no more pain, and no growing old.

Lord, we thank You for all the blessings. We pray that through all these blessings that we remain faithfully dependent upon You, never forgetting that You provide all that is good, and protecting us from all that is evil. Lord, help us to remember that as Americans that even the poorest among us are richer than many in the world, and that we remain humble, not proud of our wealth. Help America remember to help the world as we can, and Lord, we pray for Godly leaders to take over this country, help us truly become one nation under God. Help us to educate the people ignorant of Your word, not only in their minds, but in their hearts. Help us somehow have the words that would light a fire of passion in them for Your word, Your truth, and a determination to follow that truth.

Lord, we pray for the homeless, the helpless, the hopeless, the orphan, the prisoner, the widow, the single parent, and the civil servants who are being attacked by this mindless, corrupt people when they are merely trying to help them when a fire breaks out, or a person is injured.

Lord, help us stand against this new breed of “American” who boldly denounces You, and Your truth, and Your will. Give us the words needed to change their hearts, or neutralize their ranting’s.

Lord, we pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
