Morning Prayer October 7 2014

Let us Pray Together

Let us Pray Together

Lord, thank you for yet another day. We pray we use each day You bless us with to further the word, the teaching, and to grow spiritually ourselves.

Lord, we pray that we have many opportunities to share Your word, to witness Your truths, many times daily, in all parts of our lives, personal, and professional.

Lord, we pray that we work hard at our jobs as if working for Christ, setting a good example that Christians are hardworking, devoted workers, and honest workers, yet sharing scripture when we can, and living our lives as an open bible at all times. We pray we live our lives in such a way that others will want the happiness we have, and then give us the opportunity to show them the way.

Lord, we pray for the prisoners again today, that they will become great evangelists, sharing the word with the others in the prisons. Lord, we pray that all Christians will spend time praying for this great revival in the prisons that we are working toward. And, Lord, we pray for a great blessing to come from You giving us strength, power, commitment, peace, and joy as we peruse this mission. Lord, we pray You will intercede and make this happen, change men’s hearts, give us the words, and emotions, we need to share Your word in an effective, permanent way that will encourage men and women to get on that narrow path and stay on it through thick and thin.

Lord, we again pray for the orphan, and the widow, as we enter a season of thanksgiving, and the celebration of the birth of our savior, we pray they will rejoice in the hope that comes from Your great gift to mankind.

Lord, we pray for the homeless, and the hopeless, that they will know their hope, and home is in You for eternity, and this present difficulty is to Your perfection, and their spiritual growth, and that the day is coming that all will rejoice, and praise Your name daily, in a place where there will be no more tears, no more homelessness, no more hopelessness, no more grief, no more pain, and no more death.

Lord, we pray for the forgiveness of our sins, and for our daily bread, and receive both in full faith.

Lord, we pray for Your quick return, and that Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Lord, we pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
