Let us Pray Together

Let us Pray Together

Father we come to you this morning with a special prayer for the family of little Gracie, who recently passed away at 5 years old, that the family would find peace in knowing they will be reunited someday. And, we thank You for the miracles of modern science, that even though we have lost Gracie for now, other children will live.

Lord, we pray that these children who have received the gift of life for a second time, will always know that gift is from You, and their lives will be dedicated to serving You as a faithful servant.

Lord, we pray for the family of Paul Shilling, who lived a long and prosperous life, and that his life will be a shining example of serving You that will be passed to his family, and they also will worship You in spirit and truth as their father, husband, and grandfather did.

Lord, I pray for myself this morning, that as I begin a new job, that I will go with courage and a determination to work as if working for Christ, long and hard. Lord, I pray that all who call themselves Christian will always present themselves as hard workers, honest, trustworthy, and faithful. Lord, please allow us to all set forth a good Christian appearance before others in such a way they will want what we have, a happiness that can only come from a faith in eternal life made available by the work of Your perfect Son, Jesus Christ.

Lord, we repent our sins, and pray for forgiveness. We pray for our daily bread and receive it in full faith, and thankfulness of the blessing, and all blessings You bestow upon us daily, often without our knowledge of many blessings we receive. Lord, we pray Your will be done on earth this day, as it is in heaven throughout eternity.

Lord, we pray for the homeless, the hopeless, the helpless. Lord, we pray for orphans, and all children. Lord, we pray for the widows, and all parents. Lord, we pray for the prisoners, prisoners, in prisons of concrete walls, and prisoners of lifestyles in which they can’t escape on their own. For all the groups Lord, we pray for Your love to be showered upon them, so they will see the future with the hope that can only come from You, and walk in faith, and courage, the kind that, again, can only come from You.

Lord, we pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
