Let us Pray Together

Let us Pray Together

Gracious Heavenly Father we come to You this morning with a glad heart, happy in the thought that soon we will be in Your presence again, once again walking in the cool of the morning with You. Finally we will no longer be troubled by the evil in this world, and evil will no longer be a part of our existence. We thank You for this great gift, this great Hope You have blessed us with, knowing full well we are deserving of death, and punishment, yet through the work of Your Son, our savior Jesus Christ, by His shed blood, and not by anything we could ever do on our own, we have this blessed assurance of eternal life with You, the Holy Spirit, the church, and Our Savior Jesus Christ.

Lord, we look forward in time, to the great family reunion, once again seeing all those loved ones that have gone ahead of us, and to the intuitive knowledge we will have of all our brothers and sisters in heaven.

Lord, the thought is beyond our imagination, beyond anything we could ever conceive, and knowing the human words used to describe heaven can only be a small fraction of the reality.

Lord, it is heart breaking for us that any person would have to face an eternity of punishment, and so we pray for the ability to reach out to them, through this fog, and veil of evil that has enveloped the world and help them see the light of salvation through all that works so hard against Your will, and way.

Lord, we continue to pray for the forgiveness of our sins, for our daily bread (both physical and spiritual), that Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven. We continue to accept that forgiveness, and that daily bread in full faith of Your promise and providence. Lord, we continue to pray for the homeless, the lost, the helpless, the hopeless, all those who suffer physical, and mental disabilities.

Lord, we continue to pray for the salvation, and the great revival in the prisons, turning out evangelist rather than polished criminals.

Lord, we pray we might be an open bible to all those who do not own one.

Lord, help us in our areas of weakness, to overcome the besetting sins, to overcome the occasional evil thoughts, and angry thoughts, but help us to keep our thoughts on things above.

We pray for all of this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
