Morning Prayer November 10 2014

Celtic CrossLord, Father God, we come to You this morning thankful for another day in which to praise Your name. Lord, we pray for the forgiveness of our sins, and for our daily bread, both spiritual and physical, and receive all in full faith based upon Your promise.

Lord, we pray this morning for harmony in the church, that all branches of the church regardless of what they call themselves come together in a true knowledge of Your will and way, and agree to share the word, and teach Your will to all the world.

Lord, we pray the American church will turn its focus upon Americans, teaching all Americans of Your truth, and will as common knowledge and accepted by all Americans. We pray we once again become unified, under the banner of “One Nation Under God”.

Lord, we pray that America, as a nation, will gain a deeper sense of the love, and work of Christ on their behalf, for the forgiveness of their sins, and how through this work He has offered them eternal life in heaven, in a place with no more death, no more tears, no more grief.

Lord, we pray as Americans learn of the work of the cross, they will also gain a deeper sense and understanding of the hope they can have in these promises.

Lord, we pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
