Morning Prayer November 18 2014

IMG_1432.JPGLord, we pray this morning for a deeper sense of your power within us, using that power as the basis of strength in approaching others with Your word, and defending Your word to all who question that faith, Your word, Your will, and being able to do it in mildness, meekly, but not weakly.

Lord, we pray for unbendable power and strength when standing against the established church now turning from tradition and orthodoxy, going their own way, and with great arguments defending their error.

Lord, we pray they will see the true light of their error, and turn from their ways, and return to proper worship, as You have prescribed.

Lord, pray for the power to recognize temptations and to resist those same temptations. Lord, we pray for forgiveness when we fail, as we pray for forgiveness of our sins, and receive that forgiveness You have promised based upon the blood of Christ in whose name we pray.

Lord, we pray for our daily bread, both spiritual, and physical, and receive both in full faith.

Lord, we pray for our health to be protected, and also protection from the enemy.

Lord, we pray for the quick return of Your Son, our savior as promised, and that we will stand ready for Him, as we watch for Him, and we thank You for forgetting all our sins, and failures of righteousness while on this journey on earth.

We pray for all this in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
