Morning prayer December 03 2014

imageFather we come to You this morning feeling blessed to have another day  to seek You. Open our eyes Lord to the truth of all knowledge, that all true wisdom and true knowledge comes from and through Your word.

Help us not be deceived by worldly knowledge, and the “great minds” of science who do not temper their knowledge with Your word.

Lord, lead us in the way of truth in every aspect, every path of knowledge, every profession that we work, and in all worship, let all be done according to Your will, Your wisdom, and the knowledge You provide.

Lord, let us not be deceived by all that glitters, and by all the temptations of this world. Lord, we pray You will not let us be too proud our ourselves, who we are, where we live, the kind of work we do.

Lord, we pray for forgiveness of our sins. We pray for our daily bread.

Lord, we pray Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven.

Lord, we pray for the quick return of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in whose name we offer up this prayer.
