Morning Prayer December 7 2014

prayer 78Lord, we come to You this morning on the anniversary of the attack in Pearl Harbor in remembrance of all the Americans who have given their lives for the freedom of America, and pray You will always comfort the families who sacrifice so much.

Lord, let us never forget that one of those freedoms, one of the corner stones of all freedoms in America is the freedom to worship You wherever, and whenever we choose, without fear of persecution, without having to worship is secrecy, but publically, and boldly.

Lord, we pray for a special protection in America for the right to worship, against all those who would deny us that freedom.

Lord, we also pray for the protection of our military men and women who have agreed to take on the sacred duty of protecting that right among other rights we cherish.

We pray You will protect all our military men and women from the evil aggression of the enemy, both foreign and domestic.

Lord, we pray for a special protection for them from  their own leaders, the leaders of this country who do not stand for Your laws, who pass laws that benefit themselves, or their own ideas.

Lord, we pray for a special protection from these men and women, these evil leaders, who want to deny them the very right they fight for, the freedom to come to You anytime they choose, whether in their bunker or the battlefield.

Lord, on the very blood of Christ we beg You for a great revival of the Christian faith in America. Lord, we include in that prayer a prayer for the church, that the popular, worldly church that now exists in America would turn their backs on false teachers that seek to entertain them rather than teach them.

Lord, we pray that all people would seek the truth in Your word, and not leave their salvation in the hands of false leaders that would lead them with eager faces, and songs in their hearts straight to a fiery hell without amnesty.

Lord, I pray for myself, and all who teach Your word that if we are in error in any way, that You would show us by Divine Intervention those errors, and help us teach Your word correctly, not what we think it is, but what it is in reality.

Lord, protect us from the evil one who would attempt  to have us see Your word and will in a false light. Protect us from sophistication, protect us from all that glitters, protect us from all who would attack us simply because we worship You, and do so in truth and spirit.

Lord, we pray for forgiveness for the times we have taught in error unknowingly. Lord, always keep a passion in our hearts for the absolute truth of Your word.

Lord, we pray for forgiveness of all our sins, in thought and deed.

Lord, we pray for our daily bread, and help us remember to share that bread with whomever else may need it.

Lord, we pray Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.

Lord, we pray that on this day, we stand in complete truth and submission to Your word.

Lord, we pray for the quick return of our Lord and savior.

Lord, we pray that daily we hear clearly the voice of the Holy Spirit, and heed all He tells us, following His direction in all our ways while on this narrow path through this wilderness called human life.

Lord, we pray all this in the name of the one who brings salvation to the world, Jesus Christ. Amen.
