Morning Prayer December 9 2014

church_buildingLord,  Father God, we come to You this morning thanking You for congregations such as those that meet at Park Plaza, that are will to stand up for You, and reach down in their pockets to help the underprivileged. Lord, I pray for great blessings to be bestowed upon all groups who serve You by serving others.

Lord, I pray the church congregations all over the world, re-examine Your word, and Your direction in worship. Help us all return to being simple, servants to Your will, not enticing people to worship with worldly charms, but with Your offer of eternal life, and salvation if they turn to You.

Lord, help us to remember that people will listen to us concerning salvation after we have listened to them concerning their troubles and needs, and not by offering them worldly glitter.

Lord, help all us of remember that You are a part of our entire lives whether it is in worship, school, work, or play, all we do is centered in You, and all we do is according to Your guidelines.

Lord, we pray for great power, strength, and determination to resist all sin, all evil, and all temptations. We pray a great passion will be rekindled in all the church to seek You, Serve You, and to take Your word to all the world.

Lord, we pray for forgiveness of our sins, for our daily bread, for the quick return of Christ, and for Your will be done on Earth as it is in Heaven until He does return.

We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ.

Amen.
