We think back to that time when the Son of God was born into humanity to suffer and to die as an offering and sacrifice for our sins, and as I write this, I think of my own sin, how He suffered so, just for me, a sinner who would live 2,000 years later, yet He knew me. Yet, He died for me, for me who is so undeserving, I am overwhelmed with the thought.
He came with nothing to offer in a worldly sense, without good appearance, without family reputation, without wealth, without credentials, no He came offering the one thing the world isn’t able to offer, TRUTH.
Lord, let us be seekers of that truth, absolutely committed slaves to our Christ, studying His word, sharing His word, seeking that absolute truth.
He came offering eternal life.
Lord, we thank You for this gift that will give for eternity the most precious gift of life. Lord, we seek forgiveness as we think back over the years realizing how much of this precious gift we have squandered away on ourselves, when we could have, and should have been sharing it with others.
Lord, we seek passion for You; to fill us, consume us to a point we have nothing on our minds except You, Your will, Your truth, and the work You have for us to do on this planet.
Lord, we thank You for the daily sustenance You provide, and ask again for our daily bread.
Lord, we pray again for America. Please Lord, bring peace to America, Bring Your Peace, Your Love, upon all Americans leading us all back onto the narrow path of salvation.
Lord, we fervently pray that America will once again stand for all that is good and true which can only come from You.
Lord, we pray this in the name of our special gift that carries through all eternity for anyone who will merely drink from the cup, our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Amen.
