Morning Prayer January 13 2015

IMG_1433.JPGFather, we come to You this morning with a prayer for Peace in the world, and a return to common sense, and common values.

Lord, we pray for all our world leaders, that they would come together to end the wars, and the terrorism in the world. Lord, we pray for that great revival to overtake all the world, beginning here in America.

Lord, we pray You will give us leaders, who will demand a return to Christian values in America, and will lead us into a position that will identify us as a bastion of Christian faith.

Lord, we pray for all sinners to come to a saving knowledge of Your word, and will.

Lord, we confess our sins this morning, all our sins, and most specifically our sin of apathy, allowing evil to overtake America by not teaching our neighbors the truth, by not living the example of a Christian life. By overwhelming children with unbearable rules, knowing this is what crippled the Israelites, thinking we were living Godly lives and setting a good example when in reality we were driving people away.

Lord, forgive us for not teaching people that when evil attacks, when pain occurs, and when tragedy enters our lives, it is not You who was the cause but the evil one.

Lord, we pray You will help all of us grow spiritually each day, feeding us food for body and soul.

Lord, we pray for the return of the King, our Lord, and Savior, Jesus Christ, in whose name we offer up this prayer. Amen.
