Morning Prayer for January 15 2015

Ejsmond_The_AnchoriteThank You Father for all the blessings You bestow upon us every day, and thank You for giving us another day, and we pray we use this allotted time wisely and according to Your will.

Lord, today we want to offer up a special prayer for the prisoners, for their salvation. We pray for the families of the prisoners who were killed this week in the accident in Texas, and we pray for all the families who have loved ones in prison.

We pray for more people to be willing to visit the prisoners and to teach them the truth of Your will.  We pray for the prisoners that they will accept the truth of salvation, and that it will change their lives, and they will come out of prison as evangelists for Jesus Christ. And, we pray for those who never are released that they become inside preachers, helping the younger men and women to see the error of their ways, and change the course of their lives.

Lord, we confess and repent all our sins, and ask forgiveness for them, and again we ask for Your help to avoid those sins, and we pray we are not led into temptation.

Lord, we ask for, and receive in full faith our daily bread, both spiritual and physical.

Lord, we pray all this, and including the quick return of our Lord Jesus Christ in whose name we offer up this prayer.
