Morning Prayer January 16 2015

IMG_1452.JPGWe come to You Lord, with a special prayer for those who are suffering, and for their caregivers.

Lord, we pray for all those suffering that You will bless them with strength, power, and peace as they deal with their pain, and suffering.

Lord, we pray for those with mental issues, that they can be healed, and find peace in their troubled minds through Your presence in their lives, and through the word You have given which brings peace of mind and heart.

Lord, we pray for those who give medical attention to the ill. We pray You will guide the hand of the surgeon.

Lord, we pray You will be with the nurse who attends to each patient, giving him or her the strength and patience needed to care for those who are sick.

Lord, we pray for the caregiver in the home who is often at greater risk than the one being cared for, we also pray for their strength and patience, but also for their physical well-being.

Lord, we thank You for our great heroes, the medical missionary, and especially those who have dedicated their lives to Your service, without recognition, with very little or no pay, living in horrible conditions, just so they can care for those suffering without help, without love of family.

Lord, we pray for forgiveness of looking for our own person comfort, and forgetting the suffering of others, and we pray for a change of our own hearts, to become servants who care enough to help those others who so desperately need it.

Lord, we confess our sins, for we fall short, and Lord, we repent our sins, praying You will help all of us avoid sin, the evil one, and all temptations.

Lord, we thank You for loving us, and caring for us, and providing for us through Your promise, and we receive all of this in full faith of Your word.

Lord, we pray for a healing of this world, and a return of the true King, Jesus Christ, in whose name we offer this prayer. Amen.
