Lord, this morning we want to thank You for all the beauty in this world. We sometimes forget to focus on the good, and find ourselves only focusing on the bad, when there is so much good, and so much beauty in this world.
Lord, as we see Your majesty in nature, the great mountain ranges, oceans, lakes, and the great plains of America in this most beautiful country we stand in awe of your power, and greatness.
No artist has ever been able to create such beauty in a painting or sculpture. And, no artist has ever been able to capture Your creation in any painting that compares to the original.
Lord, as we look at the human young and old with a special beauty in each and every person, and a special talent or ability in each and every one. With billions of people upon the earth each being uniquely created by You.
Lord, when we consider the human mind when focused upon You and Your work which can create the most beautiful dreams, and yet, when focused upon the wrong things can create the most horrible nightmares, we see the beauty in choice.
Lord, we thank You for the opportunity to know You through the Scriptures You have provided us with, that can allow for a human soul to grow into the most beautiful of creatures imaginable.
Lord, we thank You for those who have focused their lives on You and their hearts have grown into the most beautiful flower in the garden.
And Lord, we are most thankful for the most beautiful thing on earth, when You found a poor lost sinner and revealed the beauty of the saved soul, the saved life for eternity, the gate to the narrow path.
Lord, we thank You mostly for giving us access to the most beautiful gift of all, through the work of Your Son on the Cross, a beauty even the human mind can’t imagine, a place where even gold is but asphalt…the Heaven that awaits the save soul.
Thank You Lord, for all the beauty in our lives, and please forgive us when we look away, and forget. Lord, help us to focus on things above, and things ahead, and never losing sight of the beauty that surrounds us as we travel through this world as a visitor, a stranger.
We pray all this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Savior. Amen.
